Each year, Spectrum Wealth Management donates to and participates with non-profit organizations to help communities in the greater Indianapolis area. We believe contributing time and funds to fellow Hoosiers in need helps our team and organization thrive.
‘Tis the season for giving! With the holidays just around the corner, the Spectrum team wanted to find a way to get involved and help vulnerable members of our community. Although the winter holidays include joyful occasions for most, they can be a challenging time of year for others.
We know that financial security is an issue that many senior citizens face, especially those without families, which is why we decided to partner with The Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County.
The Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County is an organization that assists seniors in need to continue living independently in their homes. They provide enrichment opportunities for senior citizens, and companionship through volunteer opportunities, as well as provide necessities for home-bound, isolated, and/or financially fragile seniors through their Community Caring program.
Earlier this month, we purchased household items and personal items including cleaning supplies, laundry baskets, paper products, personal hygiene items, and laundry supplies for 20 care packages for The Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County Community Caring program. We gathered together as a team in the spirit of giving to assemble the care packages and deliver them to The Shepherd’s Center in Noblesville.
We wanted to make our care packages extra special for those receiving them, so we included a holiday greeting card and two small gifts.
Giving back to help our community not only impacts those who need assistance, but also the team at Spectrum. Giving is powerful, and even the smallest donation of necessities, funds, or volunteering can mean the world to someone in need. We feel very grateful to have the ability to help, especially so close to home.
